Amy J. Barrett, Esq. Associate

Amy J. Barrett is a graduate of Brooklyn Law School and earned her undergraduate degree at St. John's University. Ms. Barrett joined the firm in 2008 and specializes in the areas of Commercial and Real Estate Litigation, Construction and Real Estate-related Commercial Transactional matters, related Appellate work and Corporate Transactional matters. Prior to joining LePatner, Ms. Barrett worked in the area of Civil Litigation, focusing on Premises Liability, Toxic Tort and Negligent Supervision.

Ms. Barrett is active in a number of community organizations, including the Queens College (CUNY) Continuing Education, American Bar Association Accredited Paralegal Program, where she has served as an Advisory Board Member and as an Adjunct Instructor; The Hundred Year Association of New York, where she currently serves as Chair of the Alumni Committee; and The Child Center of NY, currently holding a seat on the Board of Directors. Ms. Barrett is presently a member of the American Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association and the Bar Association of the City of New York. Ms. Barrett is proficient in Spanish and Latin.
