David J. Pfeffer, Esq. Partner

Mr. Pfeffer earned his Juris Doctor from Hofstra University and began his education at the John Jay College of Criminal Justice at the City University of New York, graduating cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in legal studies. While at Hofstra, he was a member and editor of the Hofstra Law Review.

Mr. Pfeffer specializes in construction law and commercial litigation. He is a faculty member of Lorman Education Services and continuing education professor at Pratt University where he teaches continuing education courses to architects and engineers on topics including legal liability, construction contracts, dispute resolution, and the legal and liability issues of mold and water intrusion. Mr. Pfeffer was a lecturer at the 2003 AIA South Atlantic Region's Convention in Savannah, Georgia and the 2002 AIA National Convention in Charlotte, North Carolina. He co-authored with Barry LePatner the legal sections of the Interior Design Handbook published by McGraw Hill, 2002. He also contributes to the New York Times, The Cooperator and Residential Architect magazine.

Mr. Pfeffer was admitted to the New Jersey Bar in 1996 and the New York Bar in 1997. He is a member of the New York County Lawyers' Association and the New York State Bar Association.
